Manhattan subway shooting: 31-year-old man shot in the hand on No. 4 train; police looking for shooter

MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) — Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire on the Manhattan subway on Sunday morning, wounding one man.

Authorities say a 31-year-old man was shot in the hand while aboard a northbound 4 train at 86th Street and Lexington Avenue just after 2:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to Cornell in stable condition.

Nothing is yet known about what led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made so far.

The investigation is ongoing.
