East Texas Baptist wins 2024 DII national softball championship

East Texas Baptist won the 2024 DIII national softball title by defeating Belhaven in the championship series. This is the first DIII title in program history for East Texas Baptist.

The 2024 DIII Softball Championship kicked off with the Selection Show on Monday, May 13, streamed live on NCAA.com. Following the announcement of the 62-team field, competition began with regionals on May 16 and 18 and continued through super regionals (May 23 to 24) and finals (May 30 to June 5) at Bell Park at Taylor Field in Marshall, Texas . .
