Jackson-Madison School Board holds monthly meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Members of the Jackson-Madison County School Board gathered this afternoon for their regular monthly meeting.

Some of the agenda items discussed included recognizing the cast of the production of “Annie Junior,” approving a budget amendment for the summer learning camp and approving a policy for the use of an artificial intelligence program.

School leaders also spoke about the district’s accomplishments over the past year.

“So many great things happened this year and it was kind of a springboard into next year as we start in the fall. Now that the Malesus STEM Hub is online and high school students will be attending Malesus starting in the fall, it will be great, and we look forward to bringing more kids and families to our district,” said Jason Compton JMC School Board Member.

School board members will meet again in July for their regular monthly meeting.
