Part of a house in Antioch collapses, sending one person to hospital

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) with injuries after part of a home collapsed in Antioch.

A spokesperson for the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) said crews were dispatched to the 4300 block of Maxwell Road in Antioch for reports of a building collapse. Those reports came in just after 5 p.m. on Thursday.


Part of the house fell on a construction worker. Crews were working to free them from the collapse. This person was then transported to the VUMC by ambulance.
