Free will astrology

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20): Even though 2024 isn’t even half over, you’ve already earned the title of “Least Boring Zodiac Sign of the Year.” Or perhaps a more positive way to portray it is to award it the title of ‘Most sparkling, interesting and stimulating zodiac sign of the year’. Please keep doing what you’ve been doing, Gemini. Entertain us with your unruly escapades and gossip-worthy breakthroughs. Encourage us to question our boring certainties and challenge us to be more fun. If we seem nervous in your exciting presence, disarm our worries with your humor.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22): Your subconscious mind is full of wonderful abilities and magical powers. But it also contains old habits of feeling and thinking that influence you to respond to life in ways that do not correspond to what is actually happening. These habits can sabotage or undermine your conscious intentions. Here’s the good news: Over the next nine months, you can do a lot to make the outdated impressions go away. You will have more power than ever before to perform this sorcery. So get started! How? Ask your subconscious to send you intuitions about how to proceed.

LEO (July 23 – August 22): The fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” will serve as a metaphor for you in the coming weeks. Think about the themes that apply to your life. Let me refresh you with the main points of the story. Young Jack and his mother need money, so she decides to take drastic measures. She orders him to sell the family cow at the market a few kilometers away. But on the way into town, Jack meets a man who convinces him to sell the cow in exchange for magic beans – not money. When Jack returns home, his mother is angry at his foolishness. Disgusted, she throws the beans out the window into the mud. But later the beans fulfill their promise. They grow into a giant beanstalk that Jack climbs to reach the lair of a giant who lives in the clouds. There, Jack retrieves three of his family’s lost treasures, stolen long ago by the giant.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22): Before the reign of Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the third century BC, the Chinese had built many local walls to keep out invaders. Qin Shi Huang initiated a major public works project to connect all these fragments into what is now known as the Great Wall of China. He also built an extensive road system and a city-sized mausoleum filled with the Terracotta Army: sculptures of 8,000 soldiers with their chariots and horses. Qin Shi Huang was a great thinker who was also very organized! In accordance with astrological omens, I invite you to slide into your own Qin Shi Huang phase. Which sustainable structures do you want to build in the next eleven months?

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22): Psychologist Carl Jung believed that we could achieve profound self-transformation by working hard on the immature and wounded aspects of our psyche. This may involve honest self-examination, objective observation of the way we influence others, and a willingness to acknowledge and forgive our mistakes. Jung also recommended another way to heal our neuroses: through the power of numinous experiences. By ‘numinous’ he meant mystical, sublime or awe-inspiring. Jung said that such visits can radically reduce our painful habits of mind and feeling. They can come about by grace, through life’s surprising interventions. They can also be persuaded to appear through meditation, dream work, communing with myths and fairy tales, and spiritual practices. I foresee a wealth of numinous events in your life in the coming months, Libra. May they bring you a steady stream of healing.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21): In a moment I will list the events that I think are possible for you over the next 11 months. They are cosmic tendencies, but not cosmic mandates. Whether they actually happen depends on how you use your willpower – which, by the way, could be freer and more muscular than it has been in a long time. These are the possible developments. 1) An offer to create one of the most symbiotic unions or robust partnerships ever created. 2) Great opportunities for you to benefit from the success of others. 3) Family configuration changes. 4) Major shifts in loyalty and affinity. 5) An increase in rank. 6) Revelations of secrets that you can use to your advantage.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21): Have you felt metaphysically itchy and psychologically ticklish? Not sure if the tingling sensations you’re feeling are worrisome symptoms or signs of healing and awakening? I believe they are signs of healing and awakening. They suggest that you do the metaphorical equivalent of what a snake does when it sheds its skin. Expect impending redemption, Sagittarius! Reframe the discomfort as a harbinger of relief and liberation.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19): It’s time for Super Mom to appear. Some circumstances in your life could benefit from healing adjustments best initiated by her. And when I say “Super Mom,” I don’t necessarily mean your real mom. I imagine a wise older woman who sees you for who you really are and who can help you live your destiny according to your own inner necessity, and no one else’s. If you don’t have a Super Mom in your world, see if you can find one, or even hire one. I also recommend creating an inner Super Mom in your imagination. You need and deserve sympathetic input from the wise woman archetype.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18): I suspect that later in 2024 I will give you permission to communicate with heady adventures and difficult risks. But for now, I advise you to flirt with modest adventures and sensible risks. Can you hold your burning, swirling desires in check for a while? Are you willing to persuade your crazy, wild heart to indulge in mild pleasures? I suspect that by early fall you will have made the necessary preparations to successfully travel through the experimental frontiers. Until then, if you take it easy and bide your time, there’s a good chance you’ll gather X-factors on your behalf.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20): “O God, if there be a God, save my soul, if I have a soul.” That prayer was the work of the Pisces philosopher Joseph Ernest Renan. If his ironic minimalism is the only spiritual ambition you can achieve at this point, then so be it. But I hope you will seek a more intimate, expansive, and personal connection with Divine Intelligence. The coming weeks will be an extra favorable time for you to speak and listen to mysterious forces beyond your rational understanding. Please take advantage! Search for the sweet, deep depth, straight from the Sublime Source!

RAM (March 21 – April 19): The term ‘maze’ has several meanings. Usually it indicates a puzzling series of choices that lead nowhere and portend frustration. But there are more positive meanings of the word. In ancient myths, a maze was the place where heroes underwent ritual tests. There they can summon ingenuity to gain access to a hidden treasure. In modern psychology laboratories, the maze is a structure used to stimulate learning in rats. According to my analysis of the astrological omens, the maze you are now in metaphorically resembles the second two meanings, and not the first.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): There is an abundance of good news, Taurus. In the coming weeks, your conversations may lead to insights that will increase your wealth – both financially and emotionally. So be eager to communicate with powerful souls who inspire your power to attract resources and goodies. Furthermore, you can generate enriching benefits for yourself by coming into contact with unknown influences that are beyond your expectations. Don’t be too sure that you already know everything you need. If you’re extra open-minded, useful surprises may arise.

Homework: Try to let go of a burden that you no longer have to carry.
